I might have learned to run and ski much earlier than I’ve learned to read or count, so I’m thankful to my parents to have educated me with the values of health and fitness. Our body is an incredible machine and an asset for all our life, so why not optimizing it to make the best of it?
Some of my thoughts and practices below:
- Intermittent fasting, once a week, to increase my longevity (target: 105)
- Sports twice a week (running, swimming, fitness) and competitive races, 10km to marathon (target: sub-3h marathon before my 40th birthday)
- Balanced diet: NO to all the bullshit about calories, specific diets, etc. Just eat normally, damn it (target: 5 fruit & veggie every day, 1 dairy a day, no meat every other day)
- Strict eating rhythm: 8am, 1pm, 7.30pm. Absolutely no snacking between meal-times.
That’s all and already enough for my wife to bear with me 😀
