Let’s put it simply: I’ve always loved money, and for the sake of it. I love to think how to find money, how to grow my little stash into a treasure chest, I like to anticipate and plan for the long-term (I target to live until 105, so that certainly involves some retirement planning).
I’m also very curious about many forms of alternative investments and have launched in 2015 a community on this topic called Singafrog Finance. Singafrog because I’m a French frog in Singapore (and it’s the name of one of the French community there largest Facebook group), and Finance because that’s what we want to talk about.
Projects I’ve been working on recently:
- Top 100 Cryptocurrencies: building a portfolio of the top 100 listed crypto coins (on coinmarketcap.com), I have now about 300 coins and keep believing in the logic of a wide and shallow portfolio. More on this here.
- Personal Finance Dashboard: it’s not easy to track one’s investments, especially when some of them are easy to track (stocks bought through an online bank platform), some are a pain to manage (crypto assets), others might realize their value in a few weeks time (equity crowdfunding) or in a few years (land banking). I’m building something and will publish more later : )
I’m always looking for experts & speakers (not sales people) to join our meetup and share their expertise, so if you know how to make money out of cows, containers, watch, trees, invoices, forex, and other exotic investments, ping me!
